Our business concept has been to create a cutting edge, fast casual food establishment offering a unique menu item not generally sold in other fast-casual restaurants and to bring this concept to qualified markets all over the country. So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the M.E.A.T. Going through Hurricane Irma in the Keys was definitely a challenge. Opening up our second location in Boca Raton less than two years after the first was a learning experience. We were told we were “crazy'” and called idiots for opening our meat concept in the Keys. Three years after their collaboration on the popular Caribbean/Asian Fusion restaurant, Tasters Grille & Market which opened 2009 in Key Largo, the pair decided to move forward on their fast-casual concept M.E.A.T., which opened July 2012.
